The LC Single Mode Pigtail is a factory-terminated fibre pigtail supplied by NETONIT TECH LTD for fibre termination work. One end carries a LC connector while the other end is left as bare fibre for fusion splicing onto the installed cable, which makes pigtails the standard way of terminating fibre cores inside optical distribution frames, fibre patch panels, joint closures, fibre access terminals and wall boxes. Pigtails are commonly used during FTTH rollouts, backbone terminations and comms room build-outs, where fibre cores are spliced and then presented on the front of a panel for patching. This item is single mode and should be matched to the fibre type and connector standard already used in the installation. Quantities are supplied to suit the core count being terminated.
